All sections of the Medicaid 5000 series are obsolete or added to policy. Military Locator Information, Railroad Retirement Benefits, and Veterans Benefits verification information are incorporated into policy via website links and phone numbers. The links and phone numbers provide access to current information.
In addition, reference to Prouty is deleted as these individuals would have to be at least 118 years old as of the current date in order to receive benefits from the Social Security Administration.
Refer to www.ncveterans.com for information regarding types of VA benefits and requirements for pension and compensation or to locate Veterans Service Officers in your county.
Railroad Retirement Benefits (RRB) information may be accessed from the website at: www.rrb.gov. In addition, the telephone and fax number to the RRB office is updated in policy.
